“CMC SONGS & STORIES: SCOTTY McCREERY” IN AUSTRALIA
When Scotty visited Australia earlier this year, he taped an acoustic TV special for CMC, Australia’s #1 Country Music Channel. The show premiered June 3 and brought the biggest viewing audience of the weekend to CMC. Catch the video clip of Scotty performing “Five More Minutes” HERE.
SCOTTY & SAM’S PLACE
Scotty will perform as part of “Sam’s Place” at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on Sunday, Sept. 17 along with Jonny Diaz, Amy Grant, The SteelDrivers and Ryan Stevenson. The show is hosted by Steven Curtis Chapman. Scotty’s been wanting to be a part of this show for several years and schedules just haven’t worked out in the past, so he is very excited about doing this event. SCOTTY FULFILLS DUSTIN’S WISH
As many of you know, 19-year old Dustin Chapman had a wish to meet and sing with his hero Scotty McCreery. An aspiring singer, Dustin suffers from Achalasia that affects the esophagus, and there is no known cure at this time. Scotty got together with Dustin earlier this week and had a great afternoon. Normally these types of Scotty events are kept quiet as he doesn’t like to bring attention to his good deeds. But since Dustin shared some video and photos and several media outlets reported on it, we’re going to list some links below where you can read more about it:
